Risks and potential complications

Depending on the procedure and the individual, these may include temporary discomfort, tenderness, redness, swelling, bruising, bleeding, itching, altered sensation, asymmetry, infection, inflammation, unintended aesthetic changes or dissatisfaction with the outcome.

Less common or more serious complications may also occur. The nature, likelihood and potential severity of risks vary according to the procedure, the individual’s anatomy, medical history and other clinical factors.

Before proceeding, your practitioner will discuss the risks relevant to any procedure being considered, alternatives, expected benefits and limitations, and whether treatment is appropriate for you.

Recovery

Recovery varies between individuals and procedures. Temporary redness, swelling, tenderness or bruising may occur, and some procedures may require a period of recovery or temporary modification of normal activities.

There is no guarantee that a particular person will experience a specific recovery time. Your practitioner will provide individual pre- and post-procedure instructions where appropriate.

Results and individual outcomes

Results vary between individuals. Images, information or examples displayed by Aesthetics Abloom should not be interpreted as a guarantee that another person will experience the same or a similar outcome.

Cosmetic procedures cannot guarantee a particular aesthetic outcome, and further review or management may sometimes be appropriate.

If a practitioner considers that a procedure is not clinically appropriate for you, Aesthetics Abloom may recommend against proceeding.
