Dr. Yvette Lin

A request for treatment is only one part of the consultation.

Dr Yvette Lin begins with the person behind it.

What they hope to change.
Why it matters to them.
What they want to preserve.
And whether aesthetic treatment is genuinely appropriate.

Her clinical experience across psychiatry and acute hospital medicine has taught her to listen for context—not simply treat a concern in isolation.

That perspective now shapes her approach to aesthetic medicine.

Dr Yvette’s medical background includes:

• Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)
• Bachelor of Medical Science, University of Sydney
• Clinical experience across psychiatry, emergency medicine, neurosurgery, paediatrics and acute surgical care
• Training in non-surgical aesthetic medicine, cosmetic injectables and laser safety
• Published psychiatric research and experience in medical mentoring
• Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese

But broad medical experience matters most in how it shapes the consultation.

For Dr Yvette, that means listening carefully, communicating clearly and understanding what sits behind a person’s aesthetic goals.

Dr Yvette’s experience in psychiatry reinforced the importance of expectations, self-perception and thoughtful communication.

Her work across emergency and hospital medicine developed a calm, clinically grounded approach to assessment and patient care.

Together, these experiences inform an aesthetic philosophy centred on individual suitability, conservative decision-making and the confidence to recommend more time—or no treatment—where appropriate.

Because responsible aesthetic medicine is not defined by how much can be done.

It begins with understanding what should be done for the individual.

With us, Dr Yvette’s approach is built around:

• Calm, considered consultations
• Understanding individual goals and expectations
• Careful assessment of suitability
• Conservative, individualised treatment planning
• Clear communication and patient education
• Preserving natural features and individuality
• Supporting patients exploring aesthetic medicine for the first time

Consultations are available in English and Mandarin Chinese.

Because the best decision begins with feeling heard, understood and never rushed.
